This ring is recast from a sterling silver demitasse spoon in the rare Raphael Alvin pattern, patented in 1902. Designed by Frederick Habensack, the pattern is celebrated for its intricate Art Nouveau figural and floral motifs. The design featured in this ring depicts a graceful lady holding a poppy, surrounded by flowing drapery and delicate floral elements.
